Top bit of blending. Although, how many attempts did it take to get the right position and focal length?!

  8. Ian D B says:

[http://www.flickr.com/photos/yod] Thanks Martin. I took about 20 photos because it’s only when back home and comparing the new photos with the original that the angles appear – the main angles I considered were the kerb which was easy to line up, and the angle of the building in the centre of the image which isn’t quite 100% but good enough at this scale. Getting the focal length right is more difficult than the position. I took a few at 50mm from way down the road but they weren’t right either.

Edit; in fact, looking at this again I should have rotated my shot by one degree to the left but it’s done now. Bugger.

Hi Ian 😀 Trust you are well. I need to look through your photostream real soon to see what I have missed. Wonderful transition as always! :-)))

[http://www.flickr.com/photos/maycontaintracesofnuts] You really need photoshop Ian. You can use layers and then "Free Transform" to distort/correct perspective. Its a doddle once you know how 🙂 I do home training sessions LOL :-)))
