Boeing Stearmans

Went to Duxford yesterday for the 2010 Flying Legends Airshow. An unexpected highlight was the terrific display by the Breitling Wingwalkers. Flying old Boeing Stearman biplanes, the women walking the wings and men flying the planes elicited comments from the crowd such as "Ooooh", "Ahhhh", and "Bloody Hell!"

This photo is ample evidence that a big lens isn’t essential for a great image Ian. Great timing and in my opinion technically excellent.

Blimey we can’t have been very far from each other !! I was at Duxford on the Saturday unfortunately with my 3 year old nephew who was getting a little hot and bothered so we were in the British Aerospace museum, in the air conditioning, behind you when this display was on.

    Great Shot!
Hey! thanks for the help with the names of the planes, it gives the photos much more relevance.
