Figures of two mourning parents beneath a black cross. The remains of nearly 300 soldiers are buried in this tumulus which is maintained by the Volksbund Deutsche Kriegsgräberfürsorge.

    A most impressive monument, definately imposing and I can only guess, quite powerful in its presence .. having nearly 300 soldiers buried within I would find intimidating and saddening.
