Hello Ian, I am contacting you regarding the photos you took of the Wellington bomber HE226 crash site. My great uncle died in that crash. I was wondering if there was a way to get more info, or copies of the photos to pass on to future generations of our family. Do you know of any artifacts that might have been recovered? Sincerely, J. I don’t have any such artefacts or know of any. I do need to revisit this crash site because the photos I took were not great. I do have some other photos taken from this site, can let you have them but I’d prefer to revisit.
What was you great uncle’s name? I could leave a poppy cross at the site, put his name on it and photograph that and send it to you if you wish?
