    Look at the 6 foot of nose in front of the cockpit…brilliant. The rear view mirror is a nice feature as well.

    Those Rolls Royce Merlins sound great Andy, nothing better.
    Except perhaps a Packard Merlin on a P51 Mustang…

    Superb shot Ian – have just read today that there are up to 20 MkIIs Spitfires which were buried in Burma in 1945 still unassembled and in their original crates which may be able to be located and rebuilt ! Now that would be a great project :-))
