Lufthansa Junkers 52
Taken at last summer’s Flying Legends Airshow at Duxford.
Iron Annie, I always thought that the fuselage always looked as if it was made out of corrugated metal!
Don’t neglect these kind of photos Ian, get them out there on display, excellent shots!
Thanks Colin. had to edit this one tho, got the light levels all wrong.
Great shot of this Aunt Ju! 😉
I like the composition with the green and the cloudy sky!
In my area is an small airport and sometimes there starts such a "Tante Ju" for pleasure flight – I like the special sound …
ian, love this..the atmosphere matches the heritage of the aircraft, mate….
love the shadow
Well edited then Ian , cannot see the join:-). again the clouds look great .
Beautiful atmospheric shot… I really like the processing on this composition!!
I’d be up in the Tante Ju if there were pleasure flights near where I live!
Those radial engines do sound sweet.
Alawys thought these were the most peculiar looking plane.Looks so odd with that prop on the nose.Good shot though.
Superb composition…………………..wonderful colors man!!!
Amazing shot and great moody sky too
what a beautiful (odd as well) old aircraft
Nice shot Ian i’d love to see one i the flesh.
