One of the best fighter aircraft ever built in my opinion.. Great shots. (didn’t know they had one in Manchester.)
    Cheers.

Great detail… I particularly like the rear-end shot with the curvy, riveted side. The lighting really picks out the detail.

"Keep Clear of Intake"….. advice you ignore only once I imagine.

Stunning shots Ian, I remember seeing one flying at a display, the earth trembled with it’s power!!!:-)

Really like the second pic Ian. There used to be a lightning on a stick heading towards Wales, or was that a Spitfire?

the perfect lawn ornament! next to the bath they’d make a great pair!

love the detials here – particularly the feel in the second shot – the light against the metal just makes you want to reach out and touch it (and probably set off an alarm doing so!).

Nice. Such a lovely looking beast Ian- bit like a great big metal Pike!
Always found the jump between the P.1A and the P.1B astounding – almost two different aeroplanes. Shame the RAF Museum sold off their P.1B but at least this and the other one at Cosford survived.
