I think it was this aircraft that was up the Inverness area maybe a couple of months back to celebrate the postal link between Kirkwall and Inverness "so many years back". I am friendly with one of the organisers who showed me various pictures of this aircraft during its flight (he was able to pilot it as well for a while) and was also able to come home with a limited edition letter, carried on this aircraft on its re-enactment flight between the islands, for me.
The sepia hue suits the period feel for the aircraft, nice.
Yeah, they’re not too dear. I’m certainly more likely to be taking a trip in one of these than a Mustang for the foreseeable. Unless I get that lottery win.

It’s great to keep the history alive. These are lovely old birds, designed in 1933 (wikipedia) but still in commercial use well into the sixties
I’d love to take a trip on one too! One of these days…
