    Its a shame that the wreckage as all gone , but it probaly makes it even more important to photograph the spot before all trace vanishes .

    the farmer might have been thinking about moving! the Flying Fortress narrowly missed landing on the farmhouse, then less than 10 years later these two crashed within a few hundred yards of it.
